WAVEYA, an South Korean dance group comprised of two sisters, is referred to as “Waveya”. The older sister is known as Ari but her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister, who is nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young. She is known as Jang You Sun. Their dance group was formed around 10 years ago. Since then, they has experienced many modifications. At first there were numerous female members of the group. In 2006, the group began uploading videos of their dance routines to the Korean portal site. Waveya became popular after launching their YouTube channel in 2011, having more than 3.5 million users since the channel was launched. In their videos Waveya usually perform dance cover versions of diverse K-Pop, American or Brazilian performers, as well as their own original choreography.

There have been several variations in the lineup since the group began. Waveya’s popularity began to grow after they posted their YouTube video, which they danced to Psy’s hit track Gangnam Style. Waveya has made YouTube videos, performed at concerts and has appeared in commercials since when.
