WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers of South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The elder sister is known as Ari but her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister is nicknamed MiU but her real name is Jang You Sun. They started their dance group around a decade ago. The group has seen numerous changes throughout the decades. At first there were numerous female members of the group. As you’d expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were plenty of unattractive girls. Many of the original girls quickly understood that they did not possess the confidence to act like sluts on the streets.

WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety dance videos and events. They upload a variety of Kpop-related covers to YouTube. They dance to music and western music from the west and the world. They are most popular for their twerk videos , and for their revealing, skimpy clothes.

In 2006, the group began uploading videos of their dance routines to a Korean portal website. Waveya was a hit when they launched their YouTube channel which has grown to more than 3.5 million viewers since it was established in. In their videos, Waveya either perform dance covers of diverse K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists along with their own original choreography.

Since the start of the group’s existence there have been numerous changes to the group’s lineup. Waveya’s popularity has increased ever since they uploaded an YouTube video in which they danced to Psy’s smash song Gangnam Style. Since since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, given concerts, and has also made commercials. Waveya has performed at concerts in a variety of countries like Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
