WAVEYA is an international dance group from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is called MiU and her real name is Jang You Sun. They began their dance troupe more than a decade back. The group has experienced many changes over the decades. At first, there were many female members of the group. Various kinds of sluts, whores and ugly sluts that you would expect from an amateur South Korean dance group. The group started uploading videos of their dance routines on an online Korean portal in the year 2006. Waveya gained fame following the launch of their YouTube channel and has gained more than 3.5 million viewers since its launch in 2011. In their videos Waveya usually perform dance cover versions of different K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists along with their own choreography.

Since the inception of the group There have been a lot of modifications to the lineup. The popularity of Waveya has grown from the moment they posted an YouTube video in which they danced to Psy’s cult track Gangnam Style. Waveya has created YouTube videos, performed at concerts as well as appeared in commercials then. Waveya has appeared in shows in various countries including Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
