WAVEYA is an international dance group formed in South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The older sister is known as Ari and her real name is Jang Eun Young. Waveya gained fame after they launched their YouTube channel in the year 2011, and has amassed over 3.5 million users since the channel was launched. Dance routines on the videos are performed by Waveya that feature covers of American and Brazilian artists, as well the choreography they have created themselves.

There have been several variations in the group’s lineup since the group’s formation. Waveya’s popularity has increased ever since they uploaded the video on YouTube, in which they performed to Psy’s popular track Gangnam Style. Since that time, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed at concerts, and even made commercials. Waveya has been performing in concert across various countries, including Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
