WAVEYA is an international dance group from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is known as MiU and her real name is Jang You Sun. They started their dance group more than a decade years ago. Since then, they has seen numerous changes. The group had a lot of female members when it first started. As you would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were a lot of ugly girls. Many of the girls quickly realized that they didn’t have the confidence to behave like sluts on the streets.

WAVEYA Dance Group does a variety of dance videos and events. They upload a variety of songs from kpop to YouTube. They dance to music and western music from the west and overseas. They are most well-known for their twerk videos and also for wearing revealing and daring costumes.

The group started posting videos of their dance performances on the Korean portal website in 2006. Waveya became popular after launching their YouTube channel in 2011, and has amassed over 3.5 million subscribers since the channel was launched. In their videos Waveya usually perform dance cover versions of diverse K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists as well as their own original choreography.

There have been many variations in the group’s lineup since the band’s beginning. Waveya’s popularity increased following the release of the video on YouTube in which they danced to Psy’s Gangnam Style. Since the time, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, given concerts, and made some commercials. Waveya has appeared in concert in a variety of countries, including the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
