WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister, who is nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young. She is known as Jang You Sun. Their dance group was founded over 10 years back. The group has experienced numerous changes throughout the time. The group had many female members when it first started. Like you’d expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were a lot of ugly girls. Many of the girls quickly realized they weren’t confident enough to perform sluts publicly.

WAVEYA Dance Group performs a range of dance videos and performances. They mostly do kpop dance coversthat they upload to YouTube. They dance to songs and western artists from both in the west as well as from overseas. They are most popular for their twerk videos , and for wearing revealing, skimpy costumes.

The group began posting videos of their dances on an online Korean portal in the year 2006. Waveya gained popularity after the launch of their YouTube channel in the year 2011 and has amassed over 3.5 million users after the channel’s creation. In their videos, Waveya or dance covers of various K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists as well as their own original choreography.

Since the beginning of the group’s existence, there have been many changes in the lineup. Waveya’s popularity grew after they released on YouTube a video in which they danced along to Psy’s Gangnam Style. Since the time, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed at concerts, and also created commercials. Waveya has performed at concerts across various countries, including Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
