WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister, nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young. She is known as Jang You Sun. They started their dance group over a decade ago. The group has seen several changes over the decades. At first there were numerous female members. Many kinds of ugly sluts and whores that you would expect from an amateur South Korean dance group. The girls who were the first to join soon realized that they didn’t possess the confidence to act like sluts in public.

WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety dance videos and events. They upload a variety of Kpop-related covers to YouTube. In the year 2006, the group began posting videos of their dances to a Korean portal site. Waveya became popular after launching their YouTube channel in the year 2011, growing to over 3.5 million viewers after the channel’s creation. Waveya’s videos feature dance routines which include covers of American and Brazilian artists as well in their own choreography.

Since the start of the group, there have been many modifications to the group’s lineup. Waveya’s popularity began to grow as soon as they uploaded the video on YouTube, in which they danced to Psy’s cult track Gangnam Style. Since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed in concerts and even made commercials. Waveya has performed in concerts in numerous countries, such as the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
