WAVEYA is a dance group formed in South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is called MiU, and her real name is Jang You Sun. The dance group was established more than 10 years ago. The group has gone through several changes over the time. There were many female members at first. As you would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were a lot of ugly girls. A lot of the girls soon realized that they did not have the confidence to stand out as sluts.

WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety dance videos and events. They usually make kpop dance covers, which they upload to YouTube. They also make dance videos of foreign and western artists, as well as songs. They are most well-known for their twerk videos , and for their revealing, skimpy outfits.

In the year 2006, the group began posting videos of their dances to an online Korean portal site. Waveya gained popularity after creating their YouTube channel in the year 2011 amassing over 3.5 million viewers when the channel was created. In their videos Waveya either perform dance covers of different K-Pop, American or Brazilian performers, as well as their own choreography.

There have been numerous variations in the lineup since the group began. Waveya’s popularity grew after they released the video on YouTube in which they danced to the song of Psy’s Gangnam Style. Since the time, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, held concerts, and also created commercials. Waveya has been in concert across many countries, including the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
