WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The elder sister is known as Ari, but her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister, who is nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young. She is known as Jang You Sun. They started their dance group more than a decade ago. The group started posting videos of their dances on the Korean portal site in 2006. Waveya was a hit when they launched their YouTube channel that has accumulated over 3.5 million subscribers since its launch in 2011. In their videos Waveya either perform dance covers of different K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists as well as their own choreography.

There have been a few changes in the group’s lineup since the group’s formation. Waveya’s popularity started to increase from the moment they posted their YouTube video, which they danced to Psy’s smash song Gangnam Style. Since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed at concerts, and even made commercials. Waveya has been performing in concert in a variety of countries like Korea as well as the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
