WAVEYA is the South Korean dance group consisting of two sisters. It is referred to as “Waveya”. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is nicknamed MiU but her real name is Jang You Sun. They formed their dance group around a decade back. Since then, they have had numerous changes. There were many female members at the beginning. As you’d expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were a lot of ugly sexually explicit sluts. Many of the girls soon realized they didn’t have the self-confidence to dress as sluts.

WAVEYA Dance Group does a variety of dance videos and events. They mostly make kpop-inspired dance music, which they post on YouTube. They dance to music as well as western artists from the west and the world. They are most famous for doing twerk videos, in addition to wearing tight and unflattering costumes.

The group began posting videos of their dance routines on the Korean portal in 2006. Waveya gained popularity after creating their YouTube channel in the year 2011, amassing over 3.5 million viewers since the channel was launched. In their videos, Waveya or dance covers of diverse K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists along with their own choreography.

Since the inception of the group’s existence, there have been many modifications in the lineup. Waveya’s popularity began to grow ever since they uploaded the video on YouTube, in which they danced to Psy’s smash song Gangnam Style. Waveya has made YouTube videos, performed in concerts and appeared in commercials since then. Waveya has performed in concerts in various countries including Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
