WAVEYA is an international dance group from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is referred to as MiU, but her real name is Jang You Sun. The group began dancing around a decade ago. The group has experienced many changes over the time. The group began posting videos of their dance routines on an online Korean portal website in 2006. Waveya gained fame after they created their YouTube channel and has gained over 3.5 million viewers since its creation in 2011. In their videos, Waveya often perform dance covers of different K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists as well as their own choreography.

Since the beginning of the group, there have been many modifications to the group’s lineup. Waveya’s popularity started to increase as soon as they uploaded a YouTube video, in which they performed to Psy’s popular track Gangnam Style. Since that time, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed in concerts and made some commercials. Waveya has appeared in shows in various countries including Korea as well as the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
