WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is referred to as MiU but her real name is Jang You Sun. They formed their dance group about a decade in the past. Since then, the group has undergone many changes. In the beginning, there were many female members of the group. Like one would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were a lot of ugly girls. The girls who were the first to join soon realized that they did not possess the confidence to act like sluts when they were in public.

WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety dance videos and events. They upload many kpop covers to YouTube. But, they also make dance videos of international and western artists as well as songs. They are most popular for their twerking videos and for their daring, skimpy costumes.

Waveya gained fame after they launched their YouTube channel in 2011 and has amassed over 3.5 million subscribers after the channel’s creation. Waveya’s videos feature dance routines which include covers of American and Brazilian musicians, aswell in their own choreography.

Since the start of the group’s existence There have been a lot of modifications in the lineup. Waveya’s popularity started to increase ever since they uploaded an YouTube video in which they danced to Psy’s smash song Gangnam Style. Since that time, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed at concerts, and also created commercials. Waveya has been in concert in many countries, including the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
