WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers that hails from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister, who is nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young. She is known as Jang You Sun. They formed their dance group about a decade years ago. Since then, they has undergone numerous changes. In the beginning there were several female members in the group. The group started posting videos of their dance performances on an online Korean portal site in 2006. Waveya gained fame following the launch of their YouTube channel that has accumulated more than 3.5 million subscribers since it was established in. Waveya’s videos feature dance routines that incorporate covers from American and Brazilian artists, as well with their own choreography.
There have been numerous modifications to the lineup since the group’s formation. Waveya’s popularity rose when they uploaded the video on YouTube in which they danced to Psy’s Gangnam Style. Waveya has made YouTube videos, performed at concerts and acted in commercials since that time. Waveya has performed at concerts across various countries, including Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
