WAVEYA is a South Korean dance group which is comprised of two sisters. It is referred to as “Waveya”. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is known as MiU, but her real name is Jang You Sun. Their dance group was founded more than a decade in the past. The group has gone through numerous changes throughout the decades. The group was populated by female members at first. Like one would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group, there were many vulgar sexually explicit sluts. Many of the girls quickly realized they did not have the confidence to stand out as sluts.

The group began posting videos of their dances on an online Korean portal in the year 2006. Waveya became popular after they established their YouTube channel that has accumulated more than 3.5 million users since its launch in 2011. Videos by Waveya showcase dance routines that feature covers of American and Brazilian performers, as well as their own choreography.
There have been numerous variations in the group’s lineup since the group’s inception. The popularity of Waveya has grown ever since they uploaded a YouTube video, in which they performed to Psy’s popular song Gangnam Style. Since since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, given concerts, and made some commercials. Waveya has been performing in concert in a variety of countries like Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
