WAVEYA is a dance group of South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The older sister is referred to as Ari, but her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister is known as MiU but her real name is Jang You Sun. They started their dance group around a decade years ago. The group has gone through many changes over the years. At first there were numerous female members. As one would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group, there were many ugly women. Many of the girls quickly realized they did not have the confidence to act like sluts on the street.
WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety dance videos and events. They mostly do kpop dance covers, which they upload on YouTube. They dance to music as well as western artists from the west and the world. They are most famous for their twerk videos as well as wearing skimpy and daring costumes.

The group started uploading videos of their dance performances on an online Korean portal in 2006. Waveya gained popularity after creating their YouTube channel in the year 2011 having more than 3.5 million viewers after the channel’s creation. Dance routines on the videos are performed by Waveya which incorporate songs from American and Brazilian artists, as well with their own choreography.
There have been many modifications to the lineup since the group’s formation. Waveya’s popularity has increased from the moment they posted an YouTube video in which they danced to Psy’s hit track Gangnam Style. Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed at concerts and appeared in commercials since then. Waveya has performed in concerts in various countries such as Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
