WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers formed in South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The elder sister is known as Ari, but her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister, nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young, is called Jang You Sun. They started their dance group about a decade back. The group has seen many changes over the time. In the beginning there were numerous female members. A variety of ugly sluts and sexy whores, as you would expect from an amateur South Korean dance group. Many of the girls soon realized that they didn’t have the self-confidence to dress like sluts in public.

In the year 2006, the group began uploading videos of their dance routines to a Korean portal website. Waveya gained popularity following the launch of their YouTube channel which has grown to more than 3.5 million users since its creation in 2011. In their videos Waveya either perform dance covers of different K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists , or perform their own original choreography.

Since the formation of the group’s existence, there have been many modifications to the lineup. The popularity of Waveya has grown after they posted an YouTube video in which they danced to Psy’s hit song Gangnam Style. Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed live on stage as well as appeared in commercials the time. Waveya has appeared in shows in a variety of countries like Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
