WAVEYA is the South Korean dance group that consists of two sisters, is called “Waveya”. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is called MiU, but her real name is Jang You Sun. They began their dance troupe around a decade back. The group has gone through many changes over the time. Waveya gained popularity when they launched their YouTube channel, which has amassed more than 3.5 million users since its creation in 2011. In their videos, Waveya either perform dance covers of various K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists along with their own original choreography.

There have been several variations in the lineup since the group’s formation. Waveya’s popularity began to grow from the moment they posted an YouTube video in which they danced to Psy’s hit track Gangnam Style. Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed at concerts and has appeared in commercials since then. Waveya has appeared in shows in a variety of countries like Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
