WAVEYA is a dance group from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister, who is nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young, is called Jang You Sun. Their dance group was formed over a decade ago. In 2006, the group began posting videos of their dances to the Korean portal website. Waveya gained popularity after creating their YouTube channel in 2011, and has amassed over 3.5 million users since the channel was launched. Waveya’s videos feature dance routines that feature covers of American and Brazilian artists as well as their own choreography.

There have been several changes to the group’s lineup since the band’s beginning. Waveya’s popularity started to increase ever since they uploaded an YouTube video in which they performed to Psy’s popular track Gangnam Style. Waveya has also made YouTube videos, performed concerts and has appeared in commercials since when. Waveya has been performing in concert in various countries including Korea as well as the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
