WAVEYA is a dance group formed in South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister, nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young, is called Jang You Sun. They began their dance troupe about a decade years ago. The group has experienced many changes through the years. In the beginning there were numerous female members in the group. Like one would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were plenty of disgusting girls. A lot of the girls from the beginning quickly realized that they did not have the confidence to behave like sluts in public.
WAVEYA Dance Group does a variety of dance videos as well as events. They upload many Kpop-related covers to YouTube. They will also make dance videos of western and international artists and songs. They are mostly famous for their twerk videos as well as for their skimpy and revealing clothes.

The group started posting videos of their dance performances on a Korean portal site in 2006. Waveya gained fame after they launched their YouTube channel in 2011 having more than 3.5 million subscribers since the channel was launched. In their videos Waveya or dance covers of different K-Pop, American or Brazilian performers, as well as their own choreography.
There have been numerous variations in the group’s lineup since the group’s inception. Waveya’s popularity began to grow as soon as they uploaded a YouTube video, in which they danced to Psy’s cult song Gangnam Style. Waveya has made YouTube videos, performed live on stage and acted in commercials since then. Waveya has performed in concerts in many countries, including the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
