WAVEYA is a dance group from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The elder sister is referred to as Ari, and her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister is referred to as MiU, and her real name is Jang You Sun. Their dance group was formed about 10 years in the past. Since then, the group have had numerous changes. In 2006, the group started posting dance videos to an online Korean portal website. Waveya gained fame when they launched their YouTube channel and has gained over 3.5 million subscribers since its creation in 2011. In their videos, Waveya often perform dance covers of diverse K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists along with their own choreography.

Since the start of the group there have been numerous changes to the group’s lineup. Waveya’s popularity grew after they posted the video on YouTube in which they danced along to the song of Psy’s Gangnam Style. Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed concerts and acted in commercials since that time. Waveya has performed in concerts in various countries such as Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
