WAVEYA is a dance group from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister, who is nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young. They are known as Jang You Sun. They started their dance group over a decade years ago. The group has seen numerous changes throughout the time. There were many female members at the beginning. In 2006, the group began posting videos of their dances to a Korean portal site. Waveya gained popularity after the launch of their YouTube channel in 2011, having more than 3.5 million users since the channel was made. The videos of Waveya feature dance routines which include covers of American and Brazilian artists, as well in their own choreography.

There have been many modifications to the lineup since the group’s formation. Waveya’s popularity rose when they uploaded an YouTube video where they danced to Psy’s Gangnam Style. Since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, held concerts, and made some commercials. Waveya has been in concert in numerous countries, such as the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
