WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers that hails from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is called MiU, and her real name is Jang You Sun. The group started dancing more than a decade in the past. The group has undergone several changes over the decades. In the beginning there were several female members. Many kinds of sluts, whores and ugly sluts, as you would expect from a amateur South Korean dance group. The group began posting videos of their dances on an online Korean portal in the year 2006. Waveya gained fame when they launched their YouTube channel, which has amassed more than 3.5 million viewers since its creation in 2011. Dance routines on the videos are performed by Waveya that feature covers of American and Brazilian performers, as well the choreography they have created themselves.
There have been numerous variations in the group’s lineup since the band’s beginning. The popularity of Waveya grew after they released the video on YouTube in which they danced along to the song of Psy’s Gangnam Style. Since that time, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, held concerts, and made some commercials. Waveya has appeared in shows in various countries including Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
