WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is referred to as MiU but her real name is Jang You Sun. They began their dance troupe around a decade ago. Since then, the group has undergone numerous changes. The group had many female members when it first started. A variety of sluts, whores and ugly sluts, as you would expect from a amateur South Korean dance group. In 2006, the group started uploading videos of their dance routines to an online Korean portal website. Waveya gained fame when they launched their YouTube channel and has gained over 3.5 million users since it was established in. In their videos, Waveya either perform dance covers of different K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists , or perform their own choreography.

There have been several changes to the lineup since the group’s inception. Waveya’s popularity began to grow as soon as they uploaded an YouTube video in which they danced to Psy’s cult song Gangnam Style. Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed concerts as well as appeared in commercials then. Waveya has performed live in a variety of countries, including the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
