WAVEYA is a dance group formed in South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister, nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young. They are known as Jang You Sun. They formed their dance group around a decade back. The group has gone through numerous changes throughout the decades. In the beginning, there were many female members in the group. As one would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were a lot of ugly sexually explicit sluts. A lot of the girls soon realized that they weren’t confident enough to be sluts in public.

WAVEYA Dance Group performs a range of dance videos and performances. They upload a variety of kpop covers to YouTube. However, they will also create dance videos for international and western performers and songs. They are most well-known for their twerk videos as well as for their revealing, skimpy outfits.

The group started posting videos of their dance performances on the Korean portal website in 2006. Waveya gained popularity after the launch of their YouTube channel in 2011 having more than 3.5 million subscribers since the channel was made. In their videos Waveya usually perform dance cover versions of different K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists , or perform their own original choreography.

There have been several changes to the lineup since the group began. Waveya’s popularity increased when they uploaded on YouTube a video in which they danced to the song of Psy’s Gangnam Style. Waveya has made YouTube videos, performed live on stage and has appeared in commercials since when. Waveya has performed in concerts in many countries, including the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
