WAVEYA is one of the South Korean dance groups comprised of two sisters, is referred to as “Waveya”. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is referred to as MiU but her real name is Jang You Sun. Their dance group was founded about 10 years ago. The group has seen several changes over the time. In the beginning there were several female members in the group. As you would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group There were some vulgar women. Many of the original girls quickly understood that they didn’t have the self-confidence to act as sluts.
WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety of dance videos and other events. They upload lots of kpop covers to YouTube. They dance to music and western songs from in the west as well as from overseas. They are most famous for their twerking videos as well as for their skimpy and daring clothes.

The group started posting videos of their dance performances on an online Korean portal in 2006. Waveya gained popularity after creating their YouTube channel in the year 2011 and has amassed over 3.5 million users since the channel was made. Dance routines on the videos are performed by Waveya which incorporate songs from American and Brazilian artists, as well with their own choreography.
There have been many modifications to the group’s lineup since the group’s formation. Waveya’s popularity grew after they posted on YouTube a video in which they danced along to Psy’s Gangnam Style. Since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, held concerts, and has also made commercials. Waveya has performed in concerts in a variety of countries like Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
