WAVEYA is a dance group from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The older sister is referred to as Ari, but her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister is referred to as MiU, and her real name is Jang You Sun. Their dance group was founded over a decade ago. Since then, the group has undergone many modifications. At first, there were many female members of the group. As you would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were plenty of ugly girls. The girls who were the first to join quickly understood that they did not have the self-confidence to act as sluts.
WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety of dance videos and other events. They mostly make kpop-inspired dance music, which they post on YouTube. They will occasionally make dance videos featuring international and western artists as well as songs. They are most well-known for doing twerk videos, as well as for their skimpy and unflattering clothing.

The group began posting videos of their dances on an online Korean portal in the year 2006. Waveya gained popularity after the launch of their YouTube channel in 2011 growing to over 3.5 million subscribers when the channel was created. The videos of Waveya feature dance routines which incorporate songs from American and Brazilian performers, as well the choreography they have created themselves.
Since the beginning of the group since its inception, there have been a number of changes to the group’s lineup. Waveya’s popularity grew after they released a YouTube video in which they danced along to the song of Psy’s Gangnam Style. Waveya has also made YouTube videos, performed live on stage as well as appeared in commercials that time. Waveya has performed in concerts across various countries, including Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
