WAVEYA is an international dance group of South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is known as MiU and her real name is Jang You Sun. The group began dancing around a decade ago. The group has undergone numerous changes throughout the years. The group had a lot of female members when it first started. Like one would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group There were some unattractive girls. The girls who were the first to join soon realized that they didn’t have the self-confidence to dress like sluts when they were in public.
WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety dance videos and events. They upload many kpop covers to YouTube. However, they will also create dance videos for international and western artists as well as songs. They are most famous for their twerk videos , and for wearing revealing, skimpy outfits.

In 2006, the group started uploading videos of their dance routines to the Korean portal website. Waveya gained popularity after the launch of their YouTube channel in 2011 and has amassed over 3.5 million users when the channel was created. In their videos, Waveya either perform dance covers of diverse K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists , or perform their own original choreography.
Since the start of the group’s existence since its inception, there have been a number of modifications in the lineup. Waveya’s popularity began to grow ever since they uploaded an YouTube video in which they danced to Psy’s smash track Gangnam Style. Since since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, held concerts, and even made commercials. Waveya has performed at concerts in various countries such as Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
