WAVEYA is a dance group that hails from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The older sister is known as Ari, and her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister is called MiU and her real name is Jang You Sun. They formed their dance group around a decade years ago. The group has seen many changes through the time. At first there were numerous female members in the group. Many kinds of sluts, whores and ugly sluts, as you would expect from a amateur South Korean dance group. In the year 2006, the group began uploading videos of their dance routines to an online Korean portal website. Waveya gained popularity following the launch of their YouTube channel, which has amassed more than 3.5 million subscribers since it was launched in the year 2011. Waveya’s videos feature dance routines which include covers of American and Brazilian performers, as well the choreography they have created themselves.
There have been numerous changes to the group’s lineup since the band’s beginning. Waveya’s popularity started to increase from the moment they posted a YouTube video, in which they danced to Psy’s cult track Gangnam Style. Since that time, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, held concerts, and even made commercials. Waveya has performed at concerts across various countries, including Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
