WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The older sister is nicknamed Ari, and her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister, nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young. They are known as Jang You Sun. They formed their dance group over a decade back. The group has gone through numerous changes throughout the time. At first, there were many female members. Many kinds of sluts, whores and ugly sluts that you would expect from an amateur South Korean dance group. A lot of the girls soon realized that they weren’t confident enough to act like sluts on the street.

The group began posting videos of their dance performances on the Korean portal in 2006. Waveya was a hit following the launch of their YouTube channel that has accumulated over 3.5 million viewers since it was launched in the year 2011. In their videos, Waveya often perform dance covers of various K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists along with their own original choreography.

There have been many changes in the lineup since the group’s formation. The popularity of Waveya grew following the release of an YouTube video where they danced along to Psy’s Gangnam Style. Since since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed at concerts, and made some commercials. Waveya has been performing in concert in various countries such as Korea as well as the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
