WAVEYA is a dance group that hails from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is called MiU and her real name is Jang You Sun. The dance group was established more than a decade in the past. Since then, they has undergone many modifications. In the beginning there were numerous female members in the group. As you’d expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were a lot of vulgar sexually explicit sluts. A lot of the girls from the beginning soon realized that they did not have the self-confidence to dress as sluts.

WAVEYA Dance Group performs a range of dance videos and performances. They usually make kpop dance covers, which they upload on YouTube. They will dance to songs and western artists from both the west and overseas. They are most famous for their twerking videos and for their revealing, skimpy costumes.

In the year 2006, the group started posting videos of their dances to an online Korean portal website. Waveya was a hit when they launched their YouTube channel, which has amassed over 3.5 million users since its launch in 2011. Dance routines on the videos are performed by Waveya which include covers of American and Brazilian musicians, aswell the choreography they have created themselves.

There have been many changes to the group’s lineup since the group’s formation. Waveya’s popularity started to increase from the moment they posted a YouTube video, in which they performed to Psy’s popular song Gangnam Style. Since since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, given concerts, and also created commercials. Waveya has appeared in shows across various countries, including Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
