WAVEYA, a South Korean dance group which is comprised of two sisters, is referred to as “Waveya”. The older sister is referred to as Ari, but her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister, who is nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young. She is known as Jang You Sun. The group began dancing about a decade ago. Since then, they has experienced numerous changes. The group was populated by female members at first. As one would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group, there were many disgusting girls. A lot of the girls quickly realized they did not have the confidence to act like sluts on the street.
WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety dance videos and events. They usually make kpop dance coversthat they post on YouTube. In the year 2006, the group started posting videos of their dances to a Korean portal website. Waveya gained popularity after creating their YouTube channel in 2011, and has amassed over 3.5 million subscribers since the channel was made. In their videos Waveya either perform dance covers of diverse K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists , or perform their own choreography.
There have been several changes in the lineup since the group’s formation. The popularity of Waveya has grown as soon as they uploaded an YouTube video in which they performed to Psy’s popular song Gangnam Style. Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed in concerts and has appeared in commercials since the time. Waveya has appeared in concert across many countries, including the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
