WAVEYA is an South Korean dance group consisting of two sisters, is known as “Waveya”. The elder sister is referred to as Ari, and her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister, nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young. They are known as Jang You Sun. The group began dancing about a decade back. The group has experienced numerous changes throughout the time. The group was populated by female members in the beginning. In the year 2006, the group started posting videos of their dances to the Korean portal website. Waveya gained fame after they launched their YouTube channel in the year 2011 amassing over 3.5 million viewers after the channel’s creation. Waveya’s videos feature dance routines that incorporate covers from American and Brazilian artists, as well as their own choreography.
Since the beginning of the group’s existence, there have been many changes to the group’s lineup. Waveya’s popularity has increased ever since they uploaded the video on YouTube, in which they danced to Psy’s smash song Gangnam Style. Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed concerts as well as appeared in commercials the time. Waveya has performed live in numerous countries, such as the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
