WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The older sister is nicknamed Ari, and her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister is known as MiU, and her real name is Jang You Sun. Their dance group was founded more than a decade ago. The group has experienced many changes through the decades. In the beginning there were numerous female members of the group. As one would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group, there were many vulgar girls. Many of the original girls soon realized they did not have the confidence to behave as sluts.
WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety dance videos and events. They usually make kpop dance coversthat they post on YouTube. They occasionally make dance videos featuring international and western artists as well as songs. They are mostly famous for their twerking videos as well as for their skimpy and daring clothes.

In the year 2006, the group began uploading videos of their dance routines to an online Korean portal site. Waveya became popular following the launch of their YouTube channel, which has amassed over 3.5 million users since its launch in 2011. Videos by Waveya showcase dance routines which incorporate songs from American and Brazilian performers, as well in their own choreography.
There have been a few changes to the group’s lineup since the group’s inception. The popularity of Waveya grew after they posted a YouTube video in which they danced along to Psy’s Gangnam Style. Waveya has also made YouTube videos, performed in concerts and appeared in commercials since the time. Waveya has been in concert in many countries, including the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
