WAVEYA, a South Korean dance group comprised of two sisters, is referred to as “Waveya”. The elder sister is nicknamed Ari, but her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister is nicknamed MiU but her real name is Jang You Sun. They started their dance group more than a decade back. Since then, the group has experienced many modifications. At first there were a lot of female members. Like you’d expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were a lot of ugly girls. The girls who were the first to join soon realized they didn’t have the confidence to behave like sluts when they were in public.

WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety dance videos and events. They usually do kpop dance songs, which they upload to YouTube. They dance to music as well as western artists from the west and overseas. They are most famous for their twerk videos and for their revealing, skimpy clothes.

The group started uploading videos of their dance performances on the Korean portal in the year 2006. Waveya gained popularity when they launched their YouTube channel, which has amassed over 3.5 million viewers since its creation in 2011. Dance routines on the videos are performed by Waveya that feature covers of American and Brazilian musicians, aswell as their own choreography.

There have been a few changes to the lineup since the band’s beginning. The popularity of Waveya grew after they posted a YouTube video in which they danced along to the song of Psy’s Gangnam Style. Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed at concerts and acted in commercials since then. Waveya has performed in concerts across various countries, including Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
