WAVEYA is the South Korean dance group that consists of two sisters. It is referred to as “Waveya”. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister, who is nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young. She is known as Jang You Sun. The group started dancing more than 10 years back. The group has undergone many changes over the time. There were many female members at first. As one would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were plenty of unattractive sexually explicit sluts. In the year 2006, the group began posting dance videos to a Korean portal website. Waveya gained popularity after they established their YouTube channel, which has amassed over 3.5 million subscribers since its launch in 2011. In their videos, Waveya usually perform dance cover versions of diverse K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists along with their own original choreography.

There have been numerous changes in the lineup since the band’s beginning. Waveya’s popularity began to grow after they posted their YouTube video, which they danced to Psy’s smash song Gangnam Style. Waveya has made YouTube videos, performed at concerts as well as appeared in commercials then. Waveya has been performing in concert in various countries including Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
