WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers formed in South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The older sister is nicknamed Ari, but her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister is referred to as MiU but her real name is Jang You Sun. The dance group was established about 10 years back. The group has gone through several changes over the years. At first there were numerous female members in the group. As you would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were a lot of unattractive sexually explicit sluts. Many of the girls soon realized that they did not have the self-confidence to dress like sluts on the streets.
WAVEYA Dance Group does a variety of dance video and events. They usually make kpop dance music, which they upload to YouTube. They dance to music and western music from the west and overseas. They are most popular for their twerk videos , and for wearing revealing, skimpy clothes.

In the year 2006, the group began posting dance videos to a Korean portal site. Waveya was a hit after they established their YouTube channel and has gained more than 3.5 million viewers since its launch in 2011. In their videos, Waveya often perform dance covers of various K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists as well as their own original choreography.
Since the formation of the group There have been a lot of modifications to the lineup. Waveya’s popularity increased after they released on YouTube a video in which they danced to the song of Psy’s Gangnam Style. Since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed in concerts and has also made commercials. Waveya has performed at concerts in a variety of countries like Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
