WAVEYA is a dance group formed in South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The elder sister is known as Ari, and her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister, nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young, is called Jang You Sun. They began their dance troupe over a decade years ago. The group has gone through several changes over the time. In the beginning there were several female members in the group. The group began uploading videos of their dances on the Korean portal in the year 2006. Waveya gained fame after they established their YouTube channel which has grown to over 3.5 million viewers since its creation in 2011. Videos by Waveya showcase dance routines which include covers of American and Brazilian performers, as well in their own choreography.

Waveya’s popularity has increased after they posted an YouTube video in which they performed to Psy’s popular track Gangnam Style.
