WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers formed in South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The elder sister is known as Ari but her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister is known as MiU, but her real name is Jang You Sun. They formed their dance group around a decade back. Since then, they has undergone numerous changes. In the beginning there were numerous female members of the group. As you’d expect from a South Korean amateur dance group, there were many disgusting sluts. Many of the girls quickly realized that they didn’t have the self-confidence to act like sluts on the streets.

WAVEYA Dance Group performs a range of dance videos and performances. They usually do kpop dance music, which they upload on YouTube. They will occasionally make dance videos featuring international and western artists as well as songs. The group began uploading videos of their dance performances on the Korean portal site in 2006. Waveya became popular after launching their YouTube channel in 2011, amassing over 3.5 million viewers since the channel was made. Videos by Waveya showcase dance routines which include covers of American and Brazilian performers, as well in their own choreography.

There have been numerous changes in the group’s lineup since the group’s inception. Waveya’s popularity has increased from the moment they posted a YouTube video, in which they danced to Psy’s cult song Gangnam Style. Since that time, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, given concerts, and made some commercials. Waveya has performed at concerts across various countries, including Korea as well as the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
