WAVEYA is the South Korean dance group consisting of two sisters. It is referred to as “Waveya”. The elder sister is nicknamed Ari, and her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister, who is nicknamed MiU and real name Jang You Sun is Jang Eun Young. They are known as Jang You Sun. The dance group was established more than a decade ago. The group has experienced many changes through the time. In the beginning there were numerous female members of the group. As one would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were plenty of unattractive girls. The girls who were the first began to realize that they were not confident enough to stand out as sluts.
WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety of dance videos and other events. They upload a variety of songs from kpop to YouTube. However, they will also create dance videos for western and international artists and songs. They are most famous for their twerk videos , and for their daring, skimpy outfits.

In 2006, the group began posting videos of their dances to the Korean portal website. Waveya became popular after they created their YouTube channel that has accumulated more than 3.5 million subscribers since its launch in 2011. The videos of Waveya feature dance routines that feature covers of American and Brazilian artists, as well the choreography they have created themselves.
Since the start of the group’s existence there have been numerous changes to the lineup. Waveya’s popularity rose after they released the video on YouTube in which they danced to Psy’s Gangnam Style. Waveya has made YouTube videos, performed at concerts and has appeared in commercials since when. Waveya has performed in concerts in various countries such as Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
