WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers formed in South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is known as MiU, but her real name is Jang You Sun. The group started dancing around a decade ago. The group has gone through several changes over the decades. At first there were several female members of the group. Like one would expect from a South Korean amateur dance group there were a lot of disgusting sluts. Many of the girls began to realize that they did not have the confidence to stand out as sluts.
WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety of dance videos and other events. They usually do kpop dance covers, which they upload on YouTube. They also do dance videos from western and international artists and songs. They are most well-known for their twerk videos , and for their revealing, skimpy outfits.

In the year 2006, the group began posting videos of their dances to the Korean portal website. Waveya gained popularity after they created their YouTube channel which has grown to over 3.5 million users since it was established in. In their videos, Waveya either perform dance covers of diverse K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists , or perform their own original choreography.
Since the beginning of the group’s existence There have been a lot of modifications to the group’s lineup. Waveya’s popularity increased when they uploaded the video on YouTube in which they danced to Psy’s Gangnam Style. Since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed at concerts, and also created commercials. Waveya has appeared in shows in various countries such as Korea as well as the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
