WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The older sister is nicknamed Ari but her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister is known as MiU but her real name is Jang You Sun. They started their dance group over a decade back. The group has seen many changes over the decades. In the beginning there were numerous female members in the group. As you’d expect from any South Korean amateur dance group, there were many disgusting sluts. Many of the girls soon realized that they did not have the self-confidence to dress like sluts on the streets.
WAVEYA Dance Group performs a variety of dance videos and other events. They mostly do kpop dance covers, which they upload on YouTube. They dance to music and western artists from both the west and the world. They are most well-known for their twerk videos and also for wearing revealing and provocative clothes.

In 2006, the group started posting videos of their dances to an online Korean portal site. Waveya was a hit after they established their YouTube channel which has grown to more than 3.5 million subscribers since it was established in. Dance routines on the videos are performed by Waveya that feature covers of American and Brazilian artists, as well with their own choreography.
There have been several changes in the group’s lineup since the group began. The popularity of Waveya has grown as soon as they uploaded a YouTube video, in which they danced to Psy’s cult track Gangnam Style. Waveya has created YouTube videos, performed concerts as well as appeared in commercials then. Waveya has performed live across many countries, including the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
