WAVEYA, an South Korean dance group that consists of two sisters, is referred to as “Waveya”. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is known as MiU, and her real name is Jang You Sun. Their dance group was formed around 10 years back. Since then, they has seen numerous modifications. In 2006, the group began uploading videos of their dance routines to the Korean portal website. Waveya gained popularity after creating their YouTube channel in the year 2011, growing to over 3.5 million subscribers when the channel was created. In their videos Waveya or dance covers of various K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists as well as their own choreography.
Since the start of the group’s existence, there have been many changes in the lineup. The popularity of Waveya grew following the release of an YouTube video where they danced to Psy’s Gangnam Style. Since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, held concerts, and has also made commercials. Waveya has performed in concerts in a variety of countries like Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
