WAVEYA is a dance group that hails from South Korea, consisting of two sisters. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is known as MiU, but her real name is Jang You Sun. The dance group was established about a decade ago. Since then, they has seen numerous modifications. The group had a lot of female members when it first started. Like you’d expect from any South Korean amateur dance group There were some vulgar women. The girls who were the first began to realize that they weren’t confident enough to perform sluts publicly.

In 2006, the group began uploading videos of their dance routines to an online Korean portal site. Waveya gained popularity after the launch of their YouTube channel in 2011 having more than 3.5 million viewers since the channel was launched. In their videos Waveya either perform dance covers of various K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists , or perform their own choreography.
There have been many changes in the group’s lineup since the band’s beginning. Waveya’s popularity started to increase ever since they uploaded the video on YouTube, in which they performed to Psy’s popular track Gangnam Style. Waveya has also made YouTube videos, performed concerts and has appeared in commercials since when. Waveya has performed in concerts across many countries, including the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
