WAVEYA is an South Korean dance group comprised of two sisters, is called “Waveya”. Ari is the older sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is known as MiU but her real name is Jang You Sun. They started their dance group over a decade back. The group has seen many changes through the decades. At first there were several female members. As you’d expect from any South Korean amateur dance group there were plenty of ugly sexually explicit sluts. In 2006, the group started posting videos of their dances to an online Korean portal site. Waveya became popular after launching their YouTube channel in the year 2011 growing to over 3.5 million subscribers since the channel was launched. Dance routines on the videos are performed by Waveya that incorporate covers from American and Brazilian artists, as well as their own choreography.
There have been many changes to the group’s lineup since the band’s beginning. Waveya’s popularity began to grow from the moment they posted an YouTube video in which they danced to Psy’s hit song Gangnam Style. Since that time, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed in concerts and has also made commercials. Waveya has performed in concerts in various countries including Korea as well as the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
