The younger sister is called MiU, but her real name is Jang You Sun. Their dance group was formed more than a decade back. Since then, the group has seen numerous changes. In 2006, the group started uploading videos of their dance routines to a Korean portal website. Waveya became popular after launching their YouTube channel in the year 2011, having more than 3.5 million users since the channel was launched. Videos by Waveya showcase dance routines that feature covers of American and Brazilian artists as well as their own choreography.
There have been several variations in the group’s lineup since the group began. Waveya’s popularity grew after they released an YouTube video where they danced to the song of Psy’s Gangnam Style. Since the time, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed in concerts and even made commercials. Waveya has performed live in many countries, including the United States, Korea, Indonesia, Canada and France.
