WAVEYA is an ensemble of dancers of South Korea, consisting of two sisters. The older sister is known as Ari, and her real name is Jang Eun Young. The younger sister is known as MiU but her real name is Jang You Sun. Their dance group was formed around a decade in the past. The group has seen many changes over the decades. The group had a lot of female members at first. Many kinds of ugly sluts and whores that you would expect from a amateur South Korean dance group. The girls who were the first to join quickly realized that they didn’t possess the confidence to act like sluts in public.

The group began uploading videos of their dances on an online Korean portal in 2006. Waveya was a hit after they created their YouTube channel and has gained over 3.5 million subscribers since it was launched in the year 2011. In their videos Waveya usually perform dance cover versions of various K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists along with their own choreography.

There have been several modifications to the lineup since the band’s beginning. Waveya’s popularity began to grow as soon as they uploaded a YouTube video, in which they performed to Psy’s popular track Gangnam Style. Since since then, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed in concerts and has also made commercials. Waveya has appeared in shows in various countries such as Korea as well as the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
