WAVEYA, an South Korean dance group comprised of two sisters, is referred to as “Waveya”. Ari is the elder sister. Jang Eun Young is her real name. The younger sister is known as MiU, and her real name is Jang You Sun. The dance group was established around 10 years back. Since then, the group has experienced many modifications. The group started posting videos of their dances on the Korean portal in 2006. Waveya gained popularity after creating their YouTube channel in the year 2011, amassing over 3.5 million viewers since the channel was launched. In their videos Waveya often perform dance covers of various K-Pop, American or Brazilian artists along with their own original choreography.

Since the formation of the group there have been numerous modifications to the group’s lineup. Waveya’s popularity rose when they uploaded the video on YouTube in which they danced along to the song of Psy’s Gangnam Style. Since the time, Waveya has produced YouTube videos, performed in concerts and made some commercials. Waveya has appeared in shows in a variety of countries like Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Sweden.
